In honor of Earth Day 2017, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Department of Natural Resources, and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held a poster contest for Michigan students in Kindergarten through grade five. The top twelve winning posters were made into greeting cards to be sold, by Fenner Nature Center and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, to spread the word about protecting our Earth through sustainability, pollution prevention, and recycling.
All proceeds will go towards Fenner Conservancy, the non-profit organization that manages Fenner Nature Center, in partnership with the City of Lansing. Funds will go to the Norris Ingells Education Fund for Youth.
One set of twelve different greeting cards cost $12. Greeting cards can be picked up in person at Fenner Nature Center or shipped to you at an additional cost of $3 per greeting card set.
Limited 2016 sets still available for $6/set.
