46th Apple Butter Festival

Gather around Fenner Nature Center’s giant copper kettle, making memories and apple butter at the 46th annual Apple Butter Festival. The festival runs Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Local “Celebrity Stirrers,” including representatives from our Event Sponsor Consumers Energy, will be on hand to help stir the apple butter and local mascots will be attending. Heritage artisans will demonstrate lace making, soap making, basket weaving and more. Local musicians will provide hours of live music.
In the festival field, you can participate in pioneer games or practice crosscut sawing. Inside the Visitor Center, the Fenner Explore Store where you can find unique nature-related gifts. You can also purchase cider, donuts and, of course, apple butter.
Join in the tradition of coming together with family, friends and neighbors to celebrate the fall harvest. This festival is FREE to the public. Parking: $5.00 suggested donation at the gate.
