Earth Day Extravaganza

Saturday, April 21, 2018

Honor the legacy of Earth Day by giving back to nature with Fenner Nature Center and our community partners at our Earth Day Extravaganza in April each year. Visitors of all ages are welcome to join us as we search for salamanders, plant trees, and restore habitat in the park.

We’ll need volunteers to help clear brush to prepare the land for the planting of native Michigan grasses and wildflower species that will put on a spectacular show for humans and provide food and shelter for wildlife.  As always, we’ll have our “Garlic Mustard Pull Challenge” to eradicate this invasive species from the park.   Sign up to volunteer HERE.
