Owl Night

How big are owls’ eyes? Where are their ears? Can an owl turn its head all the way around? These questions and more will be answered as we hit the trails during Fenner’s Naturalist led twilight hike in search of Michigan’s owl species.

Nature Storytime

Storytimes are great. Storytimes in nature, even better! Join Fenner’s Naturalists for our Nature Storytime hour where you, and your own young aspiring Naturalists can relax to wondrous tales of the outdoors and the amazing animals that live there. Who knows, you might even meet an animal yourself? Recommended for ages 2 – 8.

Flight of the Turkey?

Can a turkey fly? Some say they soar like eagles, while others say they will never leave the ground. Join Fenner Naturalists for the answers to these questions and more as we investigate the wild biology of these amazing birds, all the while taking a look at their connections with humans throughout history leading up to their iconic status.
