Affiliate Program: Spring Migration Walk

Capital Area Audubon will once again lead a morning bird walk at Fenner Arboretum during spring migration. May dates are May 5, 12, 19, 26 Starting time for May walks is 8:00 a.m. Saturday May 5th will host a special Family & Children’s Walk starting at 9:00am. This group will be paced specifically for children and families. Meet in the parking lot near the Nature Center building, and don’t forget your bins (binoculars). These walks are free and open to the public.

Beginning Basket Class

Work with Sharon and Juanita of the Crossroad Weavers Guild to learn this traditional skill and make a basket. This class is suitable for complete beginners. We recommend that you bring scissors, pencil, ruler, and a hand towel to class.

Inserts for baskets can be purchased from instructors during the class for $4. Limited spaces available. Please call us at 517-483-4224 to register.
