Affiliate Program: Spring Migration Walk

Capital Area Audubon will once again lead a morning bird walk at Fenner Arboretum during spring migration.

May dates are May 5, 12, 19, 26

Starting time for May walks is 8:00 a.m.

Saturday May 5th will host a special Family & Children’s Walk starting at 9:00am. This group will be paced specifically for children and families.

Meet in the parking lot near the Nature Center building, and don’t forget your bins (binoculars). These walks are free and open to the public.

Capital Area Audubon will once again lead morning bird walks at Fenner Arboretum during spring migration.

The group will be lead by Kristy Taylor and her two children.

Join the Capital Area Audubon Society for their monthly meeting at Fenner Nature Center. This month, the meeting will include a presentation on Birds and Soundscapes.
Presenter : Dr. Sharon Gill, WMU
Based at Western Michigan University, Dr. Sharon Gill studies behavioral ecology, ornithology and sound ecology. She will speak on the topic of soundscapes and how they affect bird populations.
