Sunset & S’mores

Join us for a summer evening around the campfire and watch the sunset as we roast s’mores, sing campfire songs, tell stories, hike the esker, and play games. Feel free to come and go during this relaxed gathering for friends, families, and Fenner supporter. Bring a blanket, picnic, or instrument if you’d like; or bring just yourself. All are welcome to this community event.

Join our naturalists for a lantern-guided walk through the snow. Snowshoes are the perfect way to travel through Fenner’s snow-laden trails while learning about winter ecology. No experience is necessary; program has a maximum of 10 participants, so call early to reserve your spot! Symbols and Superstitions: Annual Mount Hope Cemetery Stroll

Join us on a guided tour from Fenner Nature Center to Mount Hope Cemetery to investigate the signs and symbols of nature that surround life and death. We will delve into the folklore of ravens, owls, and other animals that can be found on the tombstones on our walk before heading back to the park for a campfire and marshmallow roast.
