Learn how certain animals are adapted to function during twilight and nighttime, and what animals are hunting, walking or flying around while we are getting ready for bed! Symbols and Superstitions: Annual Mount Hope Cemetery Stroll

November 2 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

Join us on a guided tour from Fenner Nature Center to Mount Hope Cemetery to investigate the signs and symbols of nature that surround life and death. We will delve into the folklore of ravens, owls, and other animals that can be found on the tombstones on our walk before heading back to the park for a campfire and marshmallow roast.

Winter Snowshoe Hike

Join our naturalists for a lantern-guided walk through the snow. Snowshoes are the perfect way to travel through Fenner’s snow-laden trails while learning about winter ecology.

No experience is necessary; program has a maximum of 10 participants, so call early to reserve your spot. Program fee includes snowshoe rental. If there is not enough snow to snowshoe, we will still head out on the trail for a winter night hike.

$8; non-members $3 Fenner Conservancy Members
*Pre-registration is required.*
