In honor of Earth Day, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Department of Natural Resources, and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development holds a poster contest for Michigan students in Kindergarten through grade five. The top twelve winning posters are made into greeting cards to be sold by Fenner Nature Center to spread the word about protecting our Earth through sustainability, pollution prevention, and recycling.
All proceeds go to the Norris Ingells Education Fund for Youth, providing scholarships for youth to attend programs like field trips and summer camps.
Greeting cards are sold in an assorted set of 12, for $12/set. You can purchase cards online or in person at Fenner Nature Center.
