This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and our team wants to recognize all of our wonderful teachers at Fenner Nature Preschool (FNP). This week, we will share a little about our teachers at FNP and thank them for all they do, starting with Ms.Kia!
Ms. Kia is a dedicated and experienced teacher who wants to provide each student with the best care and a nurturing atmosphere. She gets to know kids and their families well and makes sure they feel valued and encouraged as they learn. Thanks to her skill at making lovely, cozy learning places and planning out learning experiences, Ms. Kia makes a fun environment where students can develop their skills. She is the LIFE of the preschool party because of how cheerful she is and how much energy she has. She makes the classrooms brighter every day. We are so thankful for Ms. Kia’s hard work and love for early childhood education. Thanks, Ms. Kia, for everything you do to make Fenner Nature Preschool a great place for our young people.
Ms. Alicia’s dedication to learning and professional growth is so admirable, as she is always looking for new ways to improve her teaching and enhance our students’ learning experiences. She is sweet and friendly, making every child and family in our preschool feel welcome and valuable. Our young students are naturally curious and supported by Ms. Alicia’s encouragement. We want to celebrate the wonderful Ms. Kelsey, who is a much-loved member of our Fenner Nature Preschool family, during Teacher Appreciation Week. Because she is kind and calm, Ms. Kelsey makes the classroom a safe place for kids to feel supported and explore. She keeps her students’ attention by making everyday things into exciting adventures. Because Ms. Kelsey loves nature, she makes her students love it too by taking them on explorative walks through nature. She knows how to get students interested in learning more through meaningful play, which leads to important discoveries and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. We are thankful for Ms. Kelsey’s dedication, hard work, and love for each child’s growth and development at Fenner Nature Preschool.
We appreciate how dedicated Ms. Naomi is and how she has made our preschool community better. Every day, Ms. Naomi brings a lot of patience and enthusiasm to our school. Because she is understanding, she creates a safe space where every child feels valued and heard. Because of her amazing ability to change and adapt, she makes sure that every day is full of fun, learning, and times that will be remembered. Thank you, Ms. Naomi!
It’s comforting and nurturing to have Ms. Bree in the classroom, giving our children a solid base from which to grow. She makes the kids feel safe and gives them the freedom to learn and explore at their own pace by being kind and gentle. Because Ms. Bree is so good at scaffolding learning, each student gets the help they need to reach their full potential. We’re so thankful for how hard she works and how she makes our preschool community better!
Our classroom is always buzzing with excitement whenever Ms. Laura is around! She brings so much energy and passion for nature into our kids’ lives, making every learning moment feel like an adventure. Whether leading the students on outdoor explorations or sparking their creativity with fun activities, Ms. Laura’s genuine love for teaching shines through. We’re incredibly lucky to have her as part of our Fenner Nature Preschool family, where her warmth and enthusiasm create a nurturing environment for our little ones to thrive. And let’s not forget, her yoga sessions add an extra dose of fun and relaxation to our preschool days!
It’s truly inspiring how much Ms. Kendall cares about teaching about nature. She can change things quickly and has a lot of energy, which makes learning fun and interesting for everyone. She is wonderful at helping kids through their mental journeys by giving them the support and direction they need to deal with their feelings. We’re so lucky to have Ms. Kendall on our team; she makes our students happier daily!
