Join us April 19, 2025 from 9:30 am to 3 pm for the return of Earth Day Extravaganza! Earth Day presents the perfect opportunity to directly contribute to conservation and stewardship at Fenner and helps prepare the park for the peak 2025 season. Whether you are an individual interested in cleaning up a trail or part of a larger group looking to take part in a stewardship project, we’re excited to have you as part of the positive impact of Earth Day!
Volunteers will have two options to make an impact at Fenner this Earth Day. Our first activity will be a scheduled and guided invasive plant management activity from 9:30am to 12pm. This will be a concentrated group effort led by knowledgeable individuals for the removal of various woody and herbaceous invasive plants from the property. Registration for this activity is recommended below.
In addition, self led opportunities for volunteers will be available throughout the day from 9:30am until 3pm. Individuals and groups can drop in and out as they wish to engage with litter pickup and trail maintenance throughout the property.
Sign up to volunteer from 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Our 2025 volunteer sign-up portal is now open! If you have any questions about volunteering opportunities or Earth Day Extravaganza, please contact our Volunteer & Stewardship Coordinator at volunteer@mynaturecenter.org.
Did you know?
Volunteering is a great way to give back to your local greenspace, but we also have activities that don’t require registration or volunteering!
