Volunteer Opportunities
Education: Education stations provide visitor engagement and allow volunteers to help teach the public about different aspects of maple syrup production and all things sap science while involving our guests in the joy of maple syrup season. Educational information is provided to volunteers at all educational and interactive stations.
Parking: Be the first face visitors see when they arrive at the festival. We welcome each car at the gate wishing them a great time at the festival and thanking them for coming. You will be requesting a donation of $5 for parking at the event and directing guests to the appropriate locations.
Visitor Service and Sales: You will assist in our Explore Store or with our maple product sales and customer service. Volunteers will work with points of sale, assist with packaging and preparing products while engaging with festival visitors.
Set up/Tear down: Set up and tear down of the festival are important to complete. Help staff members get the festival started with a bang! You’ll assist with Cleanup, booth setup and various preparation activities. Set up takes place during Shift 1 on both Saturday and Sunday. Tear down starts at 3:15 P.M. as the festival begins to clear out. Tear down takes approximately 1-2 hours.
Pancake Tent: Help out in our pancake tent alongside Chris Cakes, nationally recognized for their “flying pancakes”! Volunteers are asked to serve sides and drinks as well as staff various stations within the tent. Kids of all ages enjoy this area and it’s a great location to greet visitors with a smile and a laugh.
Floater: Not sure what you would like to do? General volunteers will help where they are most needed, be runners for other stations, assist with breaks, and create a memorable festival experience.
No Preference: Do you have no preference regarding where you volunteer for the festival? Are you looking to help in any way possible? Fantastic! We’d love to have you join us and help wherever needed.
To sign up to volunteer for the festival, please fill out the form below. If you are signing up your group to volunteer, please fill out one form for the group; with the name, phone number, and email of your point of contact as well as the number of individuals expected in the group.
