Fenner Conservancy is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that connects people to nature in the heart of Lansing through conservation, education, and stewardship.
Fenner Nature Preschool offers a Provocation Lending Library designed to support early childhood educators in creating meaningful, engaging learning experiences. We invite teachers and caregivers to explore or borrow materials that inspire creativity.
As a lending library member, you’ll have access to a curated collection of specialized educational materials that can be checked out and used in your classroom or learning environment for two-week periods.
Our materials are thoughtfully selected to encourage student-led, play-based learning, drawing from Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and nature-based environmental education approaches.

Memberships are $75 per year, or free for all CACS Head Start teachers. Sign up or learn more about Fenner Nature Center’s Lending Library below.

LENDING LIBRARY EXPECTATIONS
• Items may be borrowed for up to 2 weeks
• You may reserve or borrow up to 3 materials at a time
• Reservations are first-come, first-served
• Please return all items in good condition and report any damage or missing pieces
• Borrowers are responsible for all items until they are checked back in
Pick Up & Drop Off Hours
Tuesdays: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Wednesdays: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Thursdays: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
