Fenner Nature Preschool is a nature-based preschool program for children age 33 months to 5 years located in the heart of Lansing at 1526 E. Mount Hope Avenue.

Fenner Nature Preschool is nestled along the Sycamore Creek, adjacent to the Red Cedar River. The property boasts 53 acres of rolling fields and established riparian wetlands, creating a unique and breathtaking vista for children to explore and learn in. The program, Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, combines provocation-based curriculum with nature based discovery to foster whole child development.

Our next enrollment request window—for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027—will open in Spring 2026.

CDC Payments:
We are pleased to announce that we now accept State of Michigan CDC payments. Such payments are applied directly to family accounts reducing the amount owed by the family.
