Gather around Fenner Nature Center’s giant copper kettle, making memories and apple butter for the return of Fenner’s Apple Butter Festival.
Heritage artisans will demonstrate lace making, soap making, basket weaving and more. Local musicians will provide hours of live music, and local “Celebrity Stirrers,” including representatives from our Event Sponsor Consumers Energy, will be on hand to help stir the apple butter.
In the festival field, you can participate in pioneer games or practice crosscut sawing. Inside, you can also purchase cider, donuts and, of course, apple butter.
Join in the tradition of coming together with family, friends and neighbors to celebrate the community traditions surrounding the fall harvest.
