Location: Visitor Center Classroom (Fenner Nature Center)
This program is designed for all ages. Most of the program will take place outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Participants are welcome to bring flashlights and headlamps or borrow one of ours.
Hike details: Mostly flat, with occasional inclines. Both paved and dirt trails. 60-75 minutes.
Experience Fenner at night! Join naturalists for a guided walk through our forest, prairie, and wetlands after sunset. As we hike, we’ll search for nocturnal animals and observe the night sky. Learn how to identify some of Michigan’s owl species, spot bats and moths, and navigate using the night sky.
